Educational support & tutoring program for Laval children living in vulnerable situations.

Don au Centre de Pédiatrie Social de Laval

The Mouvement Grandir Ensemble has created an ambitious project in collaboration with the Maison des enfants le Dauphin de Laval, the Faculty of Education of the University of Quebec in Montreal.

The project is financially supported by the Réseau lavallois pour la réussite éducative (RLPRE), the Souvenir Fund of the city of Laval and Le Centre des spécialistes dentaires et implantologie.

Taking advantage of the expertise of university students in teaching, the objective of this project is to offer free support for the school learning of children aged 6 to 12 who need adapted and more intensive support.

AFTERMATH: Business after the GREAT PAUSE

Pandemic requires, the Movement Grandir Ensemble unfortunately could not organize an event in 2020.
On the other hand, this same pandemic offers us other opportunities.

Dr. Lacoste and his colleague Dr. Bak Nguyen wrote, during the pandemic, the book “AFTERMATH: Business after the GREAT PAUSE” (Available in ENGLISH only)

Here is a short summary about the book, which is available on Amazon :

Most business structures and management philosophies are inherited from the age of industrialization and beyond. COVID-19 has shot down the world economy within months.

At the time of the AFTERMATH, the truth is many corporations and organizations will either have to upgrade to the INFORMATION AGE or disappear. More than the INFORMATION upgrade, the era of SOCIAL MEDIA and the MILLENNIALS are driving a revolution in the core philosophy of all organizations.

Profit is not king anymore, support is. In this time and age where a teenager with a social account can compete with the million dollar PR firm, social implication is now the new cornerstone.

Those who will adapt will prevail and prosper, while the resistance and old guards will soon be forgotten as fossils of a past era.

All the profits generated by the sale of the book will be donated to the Mouvement Grandir Ensemble, so we thank you for the support you will give us and we also wish you happy reading !!
